“Play is the highest expression of human development in childhood, for it alone is the free expression of what is in a child’s soul.” ~ Friedrich Froebe
Definition of Play
The definition of play is “to occupy oneself in amusement or recreation,” but it can also be defined as the “work” of children. Play is an essential part of childhood that provides many opportunities for spontaneous learning. Through play, children develop skills that they need to grow and mature, learn about the world, and experience meaningful life lessons.
