​Deaf Culture is something that should be celebrated and protected just like any culture. When teaching sign language even to young children it is important to keep this in mind. The video below gives perspective from a member of the Deaf Community and strives to help hearing individuals understand the important and evolution of Deaf Culture. Not only will this give you valuable information, but it will give you exposure to more sign language and an opportunity to listen to an interpreter for the deaf speaker.
