Occupations with and without the Agent Marker |

Not all occupation or job signs require the agent marker. Some of these signs are specific to the meaning behind them and do not require the addition of the agent marker.
An easy way to remember which signs require the Agent Marker is to think of whether or not those titles or occupations have a root word sign that is not specific to being an occupation or title.
The agent marker is a sign that is used in conjunction with another sign that then turns the first sign into a sign for an occupation or job title. For example, the sign for teacher, is done by signing teach and then adding the agent marker sign.
